Abstract

The implementation of ICTs in a company has generated satisfactory results in fast customer service and controls in operating costs, however, for the general manager of the company CORPAGROPOL S.A. Information and Communication Technologies are an option of little credibility, due to the lack of knowledge they have on this subject and the uncertainty of obtaining a positive result in the company. For this, in the present investigation, the objective of making an investment proposal in information technology for the company CORPAGROPOL S.A. is proposed. Located in the Durán canton. The methodological treatment to verify the need for an ERP system is based on a nonexperimental, mixed and cross-sectional design, detailing the automation needs in inventory and portfolio billing through interviews with management and accounting, incorporating a risk matrix. to measure the critical processes that require more attention. The work concludes with the choice of an ERP system provided by the AZUR company, which offers the company control over the inventory, portfolio and the printing of electronic invoicing that eliminates the re-invoicing processes, because it connects the customer information of the Service of Internal Revenue and automatically calculates taxes.
