Abstract

Year 2020 was undoubtedly a period that would mark us as people, because not only were we faced with a global pandemic that strongly threatened our health. But it also meant the emergence of new alternatives to face-to-face work, including teleworking or remote work. However, this does not mean that there are no problems in this regard, because although it is a relatively new figure in the Ecuadorian legal system, the truth is that it has been present longer than we think in other legislations. Hence, we can learn from the successes of other countries, to ensure a better implementation of this figure in ours, such is the case of the problem that revolves around the effective computation of the working day, where we will observe in the development of this research work, the presence of a problem for the worker.
