Abstract

The present project is to design the interior and exterior spaces of Cerro San Eduardo located between Virgen del Cisne Cooperative and the 25 de Julio Cooperative. This interior design project is complementary to the architecture thesis project prepared by Architect Dayana Garófalo. The proposal comes up from the problems of the sector due "to the separation of the communities, unemployment of the inhabitants" (Garófalo, 2022, p.7), the need to create spaces for coexistence and learning, strengthen social bonds, promote work and entrepreneurship and contribute to the development of the community. To carry out this project, its scopes and limitations were considered. The intervened areas were worked with the design criteria complying with the existing regulations and solutions were given considering the needs of the communities, creating efficient spaces for integral and community development. Spaces are created with sustainable, optimal, welcoming and warm environments, with a connection and harmony between the interior and the exterior. Likewise, noble materials inspired by nature were selected, and spaces for green areas with gardens and an orchard area were incorporated.
