Abstract

This document contains the development of the proposal of prototype housing of social interest located in the sector Cerro Colorado - Vergeles. Its terrain is located to the north of the city where urban pre-existence is predominant over certain protected forest areas. To its surroundings we find commercial areas, as well as neighborhoods of specific socio-economic groups. The respective critical analysis of the situation of social housing in Guayaquil was made, By providing the opportunity to establish criteria to deepen the design of progressive housing prototypes that meet the needs of the families that inhabit them. In addition, the project must be located within a housing complex that is composed of groups that host diversity of use and activities thanks to the strategies proposed from the productivity and collectivity. A project that seeks to elevate the lifestyle of the families that inhabit it as well as their ways of living.
