Los efectos de la violencia intrafamiliar como síntoma, en la subjetividad de las mujeres.

Abstract

The theme of this research project is: "The effects of domestic violence as a symptom in the subjectivity of women", whose general objective is to analyze the effects that occur in the subjectivity of women who have experienced domestic violence, through a field investigation to establish the relationship between symptom and traumatic event. For the development of the theoretical framework of this qualitative research project, concepts from the approach of Psychoanalysis and Social Psychology were used. Through structured interviews with 3 professionals from a hospital located in the north of Guayaquil and 4 women who have experienced domestic violence, it was possible to determine that the type of domestic violence that most affects women is psychological violence, that among the symptomatic manifestations in them we find a cycle of violence that is repeated generationally within the family, that among the subjective effects that occur in women who have experienced domestic violence are: low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, feelings of guilt, fear, trauma and anguish.
