La problemática jurídica ante la violencia cibernética de género en el Ecuador.

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the growth of gender cyberviolence in Ecuador, and how this leaves the legal right unprotected in some cases, due to its lack of efficacy in the regulations regarding the problems that are experienced day by day, in an increasingly broader world, such as the digital world. This work was carried out applying a qualitative type of research, using the exploratory methodology through the study of two cases. These cases will help us to demonstrate the gaps that Ecuadorian regulations have, around this issue that generates so much controversy and problems of a social nature. An empirical investigation was carried out, which, through interviews with women, between the ages of 15 and 30, who, when giving their point of view regarding, how they see the management of social networks, and the misuse that can be given to them when used irresponsibly and illegally.
