Creación de normativa andina respecto a la protección de datos personales.

Abstract

In today's society, the digital world is increasingly present, and everything related to data collection prevails in it, as we can see on web pages with the use of cookies, even on the pages of public institutions that collect user information and record it in databases. This is why the protection of personal data is necessary to safeguard the information of people, which is why our legislature developed a legal norm such as the Organic Law on Protection of Personal Data; however, within the regulations the situation of the cross-border flow of information is not specified. In the same way, in the international sphere, having the Andean Community of Nations as an integrating system of countries, there should be some guideline regarding this problem, but it is limited to telecommunications and does not cover all the protection of personal data.
