Implementación de un prototipo de aplicativo móvil en la plataforma Android, para integrar la señal streaming y programación televisiva del canal de la UCSG.

Abstract

This curricular work covers the development of a mobile application prototype for the Android platform, integrating the streaming signal and television programming of the UCSG Channel, as well as containing other options such as: direct access to the channel's social networks, website of the channel and comments section when viewing the channel's streaming signal from the App. The project arises as part of the technological proposals that the UCSG Channel through its director Ab. Alberto Franco is venturing to increase his technological portfolio and to be able to expand the signal of the UCSG Channel, allowing people to download an App from mobile devices to view the channel's television content. In order to complement the project, web page prototypes and statistical panels were developed so that they can be used as tools that allow the personnel in charge of the channel to monitor the statistics generated in the use of the options enabled in the developed App prototype. For the development of the App, the Android Studio tool was used, because it is the official Android IDE and allows you to create applications for any Android device. For the development and construction of the web page and statistical panels, the Microsoft 365 SharePoint and Power BI tools were used due to the ease of use and as part of the benefits of using the institutional mail of the UCSG, due to the agreement that exists with Microsoft and its campus agreement.
