Abstract

The following paper presents an analysis of Paqui's case that includes the development of the phenomenological, dynamic and structural levels, with the purpose of identifying Paqui's subjective structure. This analysis takes into account the subjective phenomena and the patient's statements about her discomfort in order to make sense of it, based on psychoanalytic theory. Paqui comes to the consultation with a well formulated complaint about her supposed "generosity", she relates several important moments in her life in which she has given herself completely, giving everything of herself until she is left with nothing. Paqui is able to resolve the enigmatic question of femininity thanks to an identification that leads her to prioritize the desires of others over her own. As a result, she has found herself entangled in amorous relationships with abusive men who have used her as an object. A space for analysis can be created due to Paqui's own questioning of her symptom and discomfort, which allows us to approach phenomena such as repetition when choosing a partner, among other traits. Thanks to psychoanalytic theory, a diagnostic hypothesis is created that points to a subjective structure of the order of hysterical neurosis, supported by the development of the concepts of symptom and phantasm.
