Abstract

This project encompasses the prompt response of the challenges generated by the problems analyzed based on the rapid growth of the city of Guayaquil, which has led to the fact that existing community centres do not cover all neighbourhoods, thus leading to a lack of knowledge in the provision of community services and activities; however, the aim is to adapt the project to the needs of the Barrio to intervene, thus promoting social cohesion and the integral development of residents. This does not mean that they will be the only problems to consider for the development of the project, since, based on the analyses of the terrain and its context, formal, functional and socio-cultural strategies arise to consider.
