Propuesta de modelo de negocio de alojamiento comunitario en Sarayaku del cantón Lago Agrio, provincia de Sucumbíos.

Abstract

Nowadays, people's interest in traveling has increased in search of new experiences, making community tourism an option that is now offered throughout Ecuador. This travel option includes a tourism project that is developed in the Sarayaku community of the Lago Agrio canton, in the province of Sucumbíos, which operates without tourist accommodation, so people who visit the place cannot spend time and stay in the community, generating inconvenience to visitors and making it impossible to provide other services that the inhabitants of the community could offer to tourists. In this sense, this qualitative-quantitative research proposal aims to implement a community accommodation service in Sarayaku to cover this need, which would benefit both tourists and the community. Thanks to this, a bibliographic-documentary analysis was carried out on the topic, in addition to a sample of tourists' interest in relation to community tourism, and several observation visits to the place to carry out the corresponding situational analysis of the resources that the community has to plan this proposal. Finally, as a result of all the research, a proposal for community accommodation for Sarayaku is presented, which can be replicated in other communities with the necessary changes.
