Las representaciones teatrales como posibles formas de tramitar lo traumático en la neurosis.

Abstract

The present research addressed trauma in neurosis and its possible ways of being perceived by both psychologies and psychoanalysis and proposing theater as a possible therapeutic tool. The objective is to analyze from psychoanalytic theory and theater theory the different ways ofprocessing the traumatic in neurosis, through a qualitative approach in order to arrive at apossible reading of acting work as a form of mobilization of trauma. As for the methodology, thequalitative approach was used with a descriptive method and interpretative paradigm, throughinterviews carried out with individuals linked to theater. Likewise, the analysis was used with its respective bibliographic review. On the other hand, forthis research, books, scientific articles, magazines, websites, references and interviews wereused, the results reflected that theater is not a therapy but gives the individual the possibility ofinvestigating their discomfort in this space, as a starting point and in turn recognizes the spaceof psychoanalysis as an enhancer of the question and questioning in the face of what has notbeen resolved and put it into words. also warns that both the analytical and theatrical processes are worked from subjectivity underthe principle of the particularity of the subject, which is why this research is important since itlies in the fact that the theater, by allowing the representation of subjective discomfort, offers aunique space to explore the traumatic, this being a therapeutic way of mobilizing what thesubject cannot put into words, In this way, we make a link between theater and psychoanalysis, showing how both can facilitate the transformation of the traumatic through action andquestioning.
