Abstract

This thesis proposes the implementation of a delivery service using electric trucks in the city of Guayaquil, aimed at businesses and individuals seeking more sustainable and efficient logistics solutions. It focuses on reducing the environmental impact generated by internal combustion vehicles and offering a more economical alternative in the long term. The main objective is to evaluate the technical, economic and environmental viability of the project. An exhaustive analysis of the market and existing logistics operations was carried out to ensure that the service is competitive and reliable. The study included a detailed evaluation of routes, delivery times, load capacity and strategic recharging points to optimize the performance of the electric fleet. The results show that the use of electric trucks for deliveries not only significantly reduces air and noise pollution, but also improves operational efficiency, allowing for reduced operating costs in the future. The financial analysis shows a favorable return on investment in the medium term, considering savings in fuel and maintenance. The business model effectively responds to the needs of the current market and promotes cleaner and more responsible transportation in Guayaquil, thus contributing to urban sustainability and the development of a more efficient and environmentally friendly logistics chain.
