Relación del desamparo en la construcción de identidad del adolescente en situación de vulnerabilidad.

Abstract

The present research, the relationship of helplessness in the construction of identity of adolescents in vulnerable situations, had as its main objective to interpret the relationship of helplessness in the construction of identity in adolescents in vulnerable situations through a qualitative approach for a better clinical understanding. A descriptive method was used, which allowed, through the theoretical review of bibliographic sources, case analysis and semi-structured interviews with psychologists and caregivers who work or have worked in institutions and foster homes for adolescents, to obtain the pertinent results that determine the correlation that exists between both social and subjective helplessness and the construction of identity. This work allowed us to conclude that early experiences of helplessness where there was no love, attention and protection during the precariousness and childhood of the subject, will influence an identity construction that will be marked by the absence of the primordial Other.
