Discriminación laboral de las mujeres del Barrio San Eduardo del Cantón Guayaquil, en el año 2024.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to understand the barriers perceived by women residing in the San Eduardo neighborhood of Guayaquil, in 2024, that hinder their job opportunities in order to provide reflections that promote inclusion and diversity in the work environment, takes a qualitative approach and opts for a non-probabilistic sample for convenience, which "involves the selection of participants in the study through the most convenient availability, specifically worked with 8 women from the San Eduardo neighborhood, one of the main characteristics of the interview conducted is intimate and with their respective informed consent and allows face-to-face interaction, in which an open interview of 26 narrative questions was conducted by each woman and that facilitated the interviewee to be much more open, broad and detailed when explaining their point of view on the topic raised. As in any investigative process, this type of interview requires the researcher to be prudent and balance the academic load well with the user in each question.
