Coproducción de espacios públicos inclusivos en Manglaralto.

Abstract

The project, developed by students of Architecture and Design of the UCSG together with the Parish GAD, seeks to give a renewed face to Manglaralto (canton Santa Elena) with specific interventions in two lots, this being a continuity of some projects that have taken place in the territory. Part of a clear reality: the area has lost its identity and lives in the shadow of Montañita. The proposal works with people and local authorities, recovering historical memory and reading the territory, as well as physical and environmental aspects, to design sustainable public spaces, friendly to the environment and designed for family tourism. Specifically, it is about improving the quality of life from co-production: deciding and building with the community, not for it.
