Diseño Interior del Centro Cultural Ecuatoriano Alemán (CCEA) de Guayaquil 3.

Abstract

The present research proposes the redesign of the interior and exterior spaces of the Ecuadorian Cultural Center German (CCEA), located in the city of Guayaquil, institute dedicated to the teaching of the German language. The analysis of the current state made it possible to identify deficiencies in spatial organization, circulation, ergonomics and comfort, factors that limit the proper development of activities and user experience. The applied methodology was of a projectual nature, through a qualitative and quantitative approach that included technical field visits, photographic recording, user interviews and analysis of references, which made it possible to identify the needs of the space and establish intervention strategies adapted to the context of the cultural center. As a formal proposal, the project generated functional, ergonomic and accessible spaces, through the reorganization of the spatial distribution, the incorporation of adaptable furniture and improvements in lighting and materiality. The design is based on the concept "Gemütlichkeit aus den Wurzeln", integrating the warmth of German culture with Ecuadorian roots to create welcoming, contemporary and user-oriented environments
