| Résumé: | The biopic is a dramatic genre that has proliferated in the programming of Ecuadorian television, a trend whose acceptance has already been proven internationally in digital repositories such as Netflix. The biopic Sharon, la hechicera, broadcast by Ecuavisa channel, from Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 9:00 pm, in prime time. It will be demonstrated if the characteristics of a biopic are more attached to reality or fiction, in order to capture the attention of the greatest number of viewers and reach its highest rating point. Updated concepts on the different theories of communication related to the biopic genre will be presented. Based on the theories investigated, we will analyze how bioseries are imposed on current entertainment within Ecuadorian television. The audiovisual elements that are used to create the chapters of the TV series will be presented. Criteria of directors, screenwriters, researchers, television critics, producers and television presenters will be mentioned through in-depth interviews. In addition, there will be an analysis of the comments and impressions of the focus group. Finally, the characteristics of the biopic genre will be established in Ecuadorian television. |
| Description: | El biopic es un género dramático que ha proliferado en las parrillas de programación de las televisoras ecuatorianas, tendencia cuya aceptación ya ha sido comprobada internacionalmente en repositorios digitales como Netflix. El objeto de estudio del presente trabajo de investigación es el biopic Sharon, la hechicera emitido por el canal Ecuavisa, desde el martes 14 de agosto del 2018, en el prime time y busca presentar las características de este género. Esclarecer si el contenido del biopic se apega más a la realidad que a la ficción, con el fin de captar la atención de la mayor cantidad de telespectadores, aumentar puntos de rating y ganancias. Al no encontrarse estudios anteriores sobre el género biopic, reafirmó la pertinencia de la presente investigación y para la cual se realizó una amplia revisión bibliográfica, complementada con Entrevistas a profundidad a expertos y especialistas sobre el tema (académicos, directores, guionistas, investigadores, críticos televisivos, productores) así como un Grupo de Discusión con el público objetivo y el visionaje de una muestra de veinte capítulos a los que se aplicó la técnica de Análisis de Contenido Cualitativo Audiovisual. Finalmente, en el análisis de resultados y triangulación de datos se establecerán las características del género biopic en la televisión ecuatoriana. |
