| Resumen : | The rise of low-budget documentary film productions with the passage of time are evolving in our country. However, its analysis of production in all its phases has not been viewed or investigated exhaustively from the academy. In spite of the fact that audiovisual works of this nature are produced in educational institutions, in the theoretical part their execution process and the way to get to be exhibited on the big screen are not completely known. The study delves into a matrix of integral cinematographic analysis, in order to demonstrate that it is possible to apply components of low-budget documentary film production with an optimum quality. In order to obtain more specific results, the Guayaquil documentary "Next Round" was taken as an object of study since it meets the criteria proposed in the research. On the other hand, the co-directors of the documentary object of investigation Ernesto Yitux and Valeria Suárez were interviewed, in order to obtain answers from their production and in turn from their respective exhibition in the main commercial movie theaters. In addition, it was considered to evaluate the acceptance of "Next Round" in the cinematographic medium, for which interviews were conducted with cinematography experts to determine their audiovisual quality. Concluding, that the titling work focuses on verifying on the basis of its hypothesis that low-budget documentary films with optimum quality and the possibility of exhibiting in commercial movie theaters can be produced. |
| Descripción : | El auge de las producciones cinematográficas de bajo presupuesto de cine documental con el paso del tiempo están evolucionando en nuestro país. Sin embargo, su análisis de producción en todas sus fases no se ha visualizado ni investigado exhaustivamente desde la academia. A pesar, de que se producen obras audiovisuales de esta misma índole en instituciones educativas, en la parte teórica su proceso de ejecución y el modo para llegar a ser exhibido en la pantalla grande no se conocen del todo. El estudio se profundiza en una matriz de análisis cinematográfico integral, con el fin de demostrar que es posible aplicar componentes de producción de cine documental de bajo presupuesto con una calidad óptima. Para obtener resultados más específicos, se tomó como objeto de estudio el documental guayaquileño “Siguiente Round” ya que cumple con los criterios propuestos en la investigación. Por otro lado, fueron entrevistados los codirectores del documental objeto de investigación Ernesto Yitux y Valeria Suárez, con la finalidad de obtener respuestas de su producción y a su vez de su respectiva exhibición en las principales salas de cine comercial. Además, se consideró evaluar la aceptación de “Siguiente Round” en el medio cinematográfico, por lo cual se realizaron entrevistas a expertos en cinematografía para determinar su calidad audiovisual. Concluyendo, que el trabajo de titulación se centra en verificar a partir de su hipótesis de que se puede producir cine documental de bajo presupuesto con una calidad óptima y la posibilidad de exhibir en salas de cine comercial. |
