Ignacio : Un amor sin a-fectos.

Abstract

In the following degree work, a case analysis was made from the psychoanalytic theory, in which it is intended to show how through the discourse of the patient one can give an account of his subjective position in relation to the Other. In this particular case, the ghost that Ignacio had built stops fulfilling its function of keeping the subject comfortable with its symptom. At the moment in which this happens, a discomfort appears in the patient, putting it in evidence of a non-knowing-doing regarding the nonsexual relationship and his way of enjoying. The theme of love begins to mobilize him, insofar as the encounter with a woman brings into play his desire and, therefore, his lack-in-being. Questions begin to arise regarding who he is and what place he occupies in life, which allows him to start an analytical work through which he searches and seeks answers to those questions that occupy a significant weight on his own life which he looks for answers to those matters that are a weight in his life.
