Abstract

From the psychoanalytic theory and more the respective supervision, an analysis was achieved on the psychic structure of the subject of the following case. It is a woman named 40-year-old Carla who decides to go to analysis apparently because of problems of affective order, it is difficult to have a stable relationship with men. For the development of the case some important and significant concepts were addressed under the psychoanalytic approach, such as: symptom, desire, enjoyment and phantom. From those signifiers and with the discovery of the true symptom, little by little, the analysand's structure was delimited, discarding a psychosis and assuming a neurotic structure. With the identification of its symptom, reminiscences, dissatisfaction and deprivation, it could be concluded that the subject belongs to the structure of the hysterical neurosis. This is how it is possible to locate the position of enjoyment that the subject occupies, recognizing itself as "The excluded".
