Magdalena, el dolor de no ser “la elegida”.

Abstract

The case was titled Magdalena, the pain of not being "the chosen one", where the analysis of the case of a woman who is going through the separation of her marriage and who cannot bear the suffering of being abandoned by her husband was carried out. Magdalena begins by saying that between her husband and her there is a confrontation for different positions in life and later she narrates the infidelities of her husband that she had let go because “He was a good father and a good husband, unfaithful like many”, she had forgiven all these infidelities, but at the same time she felt the lack of love for her husband over the years. Faced with this separation, she feels useless and abandons herself, to the point of looking like an anorexic woman. Magdalena is located within a neurotic structure with hysterical modality in relation to several important points that were developed to establish this hypothesis.
