Abstract

The main objective of this work is to design a Communication Strategy to strengthen the Culture of Risk Prevention in communities of the rural sector of the Province of Guayas, in such a way that it allows the communities to prepare for risk management in the event of possible natural disasters. , as anthropic in a preventive way. The research has a mixed approach, using surveys and interviews that reveal the results of the project that operates on the basis of the population consultation. According to the surveys carried out, the vast majority of residents are unaware of risk prevention and participation in events organized by the authorities to train the population is minimal. Based on the results, a strategy was designed, which includes evaluating risk situations with high technology, considering an integrated work with the community and all interested parties, through learning networks established with the participation of authorities and the community.
