| Résumé: | Introduction: Nickel-titanium-based systems have helped endodontic instrumentation improve, avoiding accidents such as instrument fracture due to cyclic fatigue. In this systematic study, the WaveOne Gold and Reciproc Blue systems are compared to determine which system has higher resistance to cyclic fatigue. Objective: to compare between 2 reciprocating systems which instrument has greater resistance to cyclic fatigue when used in curved canals. Materials and Methods: The following research work is a systematic review that maintains a retrospective and cross-sectional qualitative approach with a comparative, descriptive and analytical design. Results: The WaveOne Gold and Reciproc Blue reciprocating systems were compared at a 60° curvature, the WaveOne Gold files obtained a fracture time of less than 500 seconds, and the Reciproc Blue files obtained a Fracture time greater than 500 seconds. Conclusion: Reciproc Blue files have a higher resistance to cyclic fatigue than WaveOne Gold files. |
| Description: | Introducción: Los sistemas a base de níquel-titanio han ayudado a que la instrumentación endodóntica mejore, evitando accidentes tales como la fractura del instrumento por fatiga cíclica, en este estudio sistemático se compara los sistemas WaveOne Gold y Reciproc Blue para así determinar qué sistema tiene mayor resistencia a la fatiga cíclica. Objetivo: comparar entre 2 sistemas reciprocantes qué instrumento tiene mayor resistencia a la fatiga cíclica cuando son utilizados en conductos curvos. Materiales y Métodos: El siguiente trabajo de investigación es una revisión sistemática que mantiene un enfoque cualitativo de tipo retrospectivo y transversal con un diseño comparativo, descriptivo y analítico Resultados: Se compararon los sistemas reciprocantes WaveOne Gold y Reciproc Blue, a una curvatura de 60°, las limas WaveOne Gold obtuvieron un tiempo de fractura menor a 500 segundos y las limas Reciproc Blue obtuvieron un tiempo de Fractura mayor a 500 segundos. Conclusión: las limas Reciproc Blue tiene una mayor resistencia a la fatiga cíclica que las limas WaveOne Gold. |
