Análisis de los efectos de las funciones materna y paterna, en el proceso de adopción del niño.

Abstract

Families eager to house a child in their homes and gradually be able to have him or her recognized as their child encounter various difficulties not only at the process level but also at the time of establishing links. In the present investigation, a tour was carried out through the context of adoption, through the process of structuring the child and the role played by the paternal and maternal functions in it, as well as the problems that this process brings with it both for the parents who they wish to adopt, for the child and for the foster institutions; being the child the protagonist of the story, who will go through several changes before being able to settle in a home. The union between the data collection techniques and the theories of various authors regarding childhood, adoption, as well as the family, allowed us to rethink the idea of whether the adoption process is always traumatic to the same extent for all infants who go through this process. Well, it was noted that not every adoption process should be traumatic for the child, however, some difficulties may arise that arise from the way they were housed in the foster homes. The correct accompaniment of mental health professionals can favor the appeasement of these conflicts as far as possible.
