Despertar de la sexualidad en adolescentes con autismo : Una mirada desde el psicoanálisis.

Abstract

The objective of the research work is to analyze the awakening of the development of sexuality in adolescents with autism through bibliographic reviews and interviews for the construction of principles that guide interventions with adolescents with autism. The difficulties that arise in adolescence are described, starting with the construction of the subject and sexuality from psychoanalysis, also using clinical vignettes. The methodology used has a qualitative approach, using the interpretive paradigm to focus on the unique and personal, the method is inductive and the techniques used were interviews with professionals with experience in adolescents with autism. From the analysis of the results, it is clear the importance of a respectful and unique intervention for each subject, the operation of the concepts of edge and double for psychological intervention with autistic adolescent subjects. The research concludes that adolescence for adolescents with autism presents unique challenges due to the absence of the symbolic and language since childhood. Furthermore, the lack of discursive tools makes it difficult to express pleasurable experiences, especially during the awakening of sexuality. Resulting in important psychological intervention and family support, recognizing the uniqueness of each adolescent with autism and encouraging open communication with parents.
