La espectacularización del discurso político basados en candidatos de figuras de televisión en el periodo electoral 2017 en Guayaquil.

Abstract

The spectacularization of political discourse in Ecuador has existed since the beginning of the 21st century, using public figuresfrom the media for political ends. In this work of titration, the elections of February 2017 were analyzed in the city of Guayaquil, given that, unlike in recent years, more than 15 people who have worked in television presented thisphenomenon, which led to this investigation. It is a discourse analysis of four people who decided to take a leap to politics after having worked severalyears in television and only one obtained the seat in the National Assembly in those elections.
