Abstract

The following research work has as a main concern and interest the development of fine motor skills as means to accomplish a correct and better performance in writing, this need arises when detecting that a second year elementary education has difficulties in the writing process because she does not hold the pencil correctly and the writing gets out of the limits of the piece of paper. Thus, the student was observed during her classes where it was possible to verify that the student makes the strokes to reinforce and strengthen fine motor skills. That is why it is proposed to use some techniques that involve art and writing because they allow the development of the finger grasp, and thus achieve good coordination and accuracy in writing.
