Aproximación al tratamiento equitativo de género en la comunicación virtual entre docentes y estudiantes. Caso : Escuela Liceo Panamericano.

Abstract

The purpose of the following degree project is to approach the communication established between teachers and students of the Liceo Panamericano School, Centenario headquarters, so we can learn how it responds to the basic concepts of gender equality from the virtual environment. The research, with a mixed approach, seeks through non-participant observation to describe how the unit of analysis has managed to create and / or maintain ways of communicating gender equity in a pandemic context caused by COVID-19. To do this, a sample from the second to fifth year of basic education was assembled and their classes were attended to, subsequently the teachers were surveyed and the directors of the institution were interviewed in depth to get a sense of their knowledge related to the gender equity and how they are transmitted on a daily basis. The research allows an initial knowledge of what stereotypes are handled in the basic communication of the case study and what challenges the topic shows when working with children in an educational context.
